On Thursday, July 29, Lori Foust from Bradford County Manor will be calling bingo at the Gillett Senior Center beginning at 11:00 a.m. Bradford County Manor provides the prizes for the bingo winners.
The Gillett Senior Center is open every Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m., all meals are served at noon and reservations for lunch should be made with center manager Joyce Steigerwalt by noon the Tuesday before. Those ages 60 or older and their spouse are eligible for meals. For more information or to make reservations call (570) 596-3353. The meal for July 29 will consist of pork sausage, fettuccine noodles with alfredo sauce, yellow beans, whole grain bread, mandarin oranges and milk.
There are twenty senior centers in the four county area located in Canton, Sayre, Towanda, Troy, Gillett, Wyalusing, Warren Center, Dushore, Muncy Valley, Lenoxville, Forest City, Great Bend, Lawton, Montrose, Lanesboro, Mansfield, Millerton, Wellsboro, Westfield and Elkland.
Senior Community Centers welcome seniors age 60 or older and their spouses of any age. Individuals visiting the Senior Community Centers can enjoy a hot noon time meal, companionship, entertainment, educational and nutritional programs and activities.
