Young girl raises dollars to help Magic Momma

Ashlynn Vargason hands a member of Happy Tails No Kill Animal Shelter the contribution she raised towards animal rescue.

Who says you can’t reach for your dreams just because you’re only four years old?

Ask Ashlynn Vargarson of Towanda who attained her goal of raising money for homeless animals. Ashlynn, who has 2 cats and 2 dogs, decided this summer that she would like to help animals in need, so when her family had their annual yard sale, she set up her own stand and sold cookies. She also displayed a poster of a big thermometer showing her goal of $30.

Never underestimate the powers of a young girl with a beautiful smile! Ashlynn quickly raised almost $50, which she donated toward Happy Tails No Kill Animal Shelter rescue funds. Her donation is targeted to help rescued cat, Magic Momma, and her six new born kittens (see them on Happytailsnkas.com), receive vetting care and find good homes.

Thank you Ashlynn!
