Schooltime Youth Productions to present ‘My Mouth is a Volcano’

The Bradford County Regional Arts Council (BCRAC) is pleased to announce they are bringing Stars Within Reach Productions’ new musical, My Mouth is a Volcano based on the award-winning book by Julia Cook, to the Sayre Theatre on Wednesday, May 17.

Children, ages pre-k through third grade, will follow Louis, who always interrupts or “erupts” like a volcano; and learn along with him the value of respecting others by listening and waiting for their turn to speak.

The 9:30 a.m. performance has limited seats available, so a new 12:30 p.m. performance has been added. Tickets are $6 for adults and children.  Performances at the Keystone Theatre in Towanda have sold out, so guests are encouraged to get tickets as soon as possible.

Schooltime Youth Productions are a program of the BCRAC and supported by a grant from the United Way of Bradford County. The BCRAC, established in 1976, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building and supporting a thriving regional arts community by advocating for the Arts, cultivation quality arts programming and preserving Bradford County’s historic theatres as venues for performances, community events, and movies.
