Second bus trip scheduled to Sight & Sound’s production of ‘Jonah’

A trip to Sight & Sound’s production of Jonah has been scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 9 for area residents. The bus trip to Jonah on July 11 is full, but the August date was added to accommodate others that may wish to attend on Aug. 9.

Canton resident Denny Vermilya is hosting this trip with the bus service being provided by Benedicts of Wellsboro. Bus travelers will be picked up in North Towanda and Canton.

A breakfast stop at Country Cupboard will take place in the morning. Upon leaving Lewisburg, guests will travel directly to the Millennium Theater for the 11 a.m. showing of Jonah. Immediately after the show there will be a lunch buffet at Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant before heading home. An hour or so of browsing at the local famer’s market will take place as well.

Seats are still available, but it is suggested for those interested to act promptly.   The adult price is $116, and for children ages three to 12 the price is $80.

Contact Denny Vermilya at (570) 673-8154 or (570) 447-8499 for more information or to reserve a spot for the August trip.
