9th Annual Ridgebury Township Community Park Day to take place on June 3

On Saturday, June 3, the 9th Annual Ridgebury Township Community Park Day will take place from 4 to 9:30 p.m. in Berwick Turnpike, Bentley Creek, Pa. There is no admission charge for this event, which will feature Cow Pie Bingo from 5 to 7 p.m., entertainment, games, raffles, a dunking booth, and much more.

For Cow Pie Bingo, there will be one winner of $500, and only 225 tickets will be sold. Tickets are available at Judy’s Country store in Bentley Creek, or from any Park committee member. The cost for one ticket is $10.

The cow is not partial to any ticket holder. The cow enters the field from 5 to 7 p.m., if no meadow muffin is produced in two hours the winner will be randomly drawn at 7 p.m.

There are also vendor tables available. Call Dee Boswell at (570) 596-3258.

Food will be served, as well as ice cream. And there will be a fireworks display at 9 p.m. 

For Ridgebury and Bentley Creek residents, June 3 is a good day to plan a yard sale.
