Recently, two girls from the Sayre area set up a Lemonade Stand asking for donations for the Bradford County Humane Society (BCHS). In one afternoon they raised $63.10.
Isabella Barnes and Fiona Coniglio were very happy to come to the shelter to give them their donations. Afterwards they were given a tour of the facility, which ended in the cat room.
“It is so exciting to see young people taking time to think of our animal shelter during their summer break. We are very thankful to Fiona and Isabella for their thoughtfulness,” stated Jennifer L. Spencer, BCHS executive director.
BCHS is an Agency of the United Way of Bradford County.
