Canton Church of Christ announces first bus trip of the season

It’s time for the Canton Church of Christ’s first bus trip of this season. Don’t miss out on a trip to the newly opened Museum of the Bible.  

The Canton Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) is offering this trip to Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, July 17. 

The museum’s website, stated, “The Museum of the Bible aims to be among the most technologically advanced and engaging museums in the world. Showcasing rare artifacts spanning 3,500 years of history, the museum offers visitors an immersive and personalized experience with the Bible, and its ongoing impact on the world around us.” 

At the museum you may purchase guided tours as time permits. There are two restaurants on the property for lunch on your own.  

Included in the cost of this trip is breakfast at McDonald’s, a buffet dinner at the Mountain Gate Restaurant in Thurmont, Md., as well as the driver gratuity.

The total cost for the trip is $160 per person. The absolute deadline for reservations is Friday, June 29.  

Make your reservations as soon as possible, and you can pay half in advance as long as the balance is paid-in-full by June 29. Reservations and/or payments are non-cancellable / non-refundable.

Pick-up locations include Canton and Troy, as well as Roaring Branch, Ralston, Trout Run and Williamsport, if requested.
