Kindness and Creativity

Pictured are the winners of the “Kindness and Creativity” contest sponsored by the Bradford / Sullivan Community Support Program and supported by the Bradford Sullivan Office of Mental Health.

The Kindness and Creativity contest was sponsored during the month of May, which is Mental Health Awareness Month, in an attempt to spread the message of how simple acts of kindness can change the world in which we live.

They asked kids of any age to show what Kindness meant to them through some sort of creativity and they received entries from Towanda Elementary and St. Agnes.

All entries were displayed at The Paint the Town Purple event on May 25 for public voting.

The winners are Susan Higley, principal of Towanda Elementary School; Kaya Johnson, 1st Place; Madicyn Arnold, 3rd Place; Mackenzie Ferrario, 2nd place; and Tracy Miller and Jessica Rees from the Main Link.
