July is National Ice Cream Month

What a perfect way to end the month of June. I had the honor of delivering a basket of goodies to the last baby born in June at the Robert Packer Hospital. Congratulations to Dylan Horton and Kara Johnson on the birth of their son, Braxton Lee Horton. Born on June 29, Braxton weighed in at six pounds 13 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long.

Celebrating June as National Dairy Month has been rewarding! I have had the pleasure of traveling to different events and meeting new people, all while promoting the dairy industry.

Just because June has come to an end, it doesn’t mean you need to stop supporting the dairy industry. Keep getting your three servings of dairy (milk, cheese and yogurt) everyday.

Most importantly, tell the dairy farmers thank you for their hard work and dedication.

July is National Ice Cream Month, let the celebrations begin!
