CodeRED is an emergency notification service available to all residents of Bradford County. This service alerts residents of severe weather approaching their area. It sends messages to individual landlines, cell phones, computers or tablets, and whatever devices are registered.
The system sends messages only to those residents directly affected by a particular event. In the case of a countywide emergency, all residents will be alerted and kept up to date on developments.
The service is free to individuals. Registration can be done online by logging into the Emergency Communications Network Site at http://onsolve.com, or by completing an application form available at the Bradford County Emergency Management Agency.
Granville residents may obtain a registration form at their post office or from the Granville Emergency Management Coordinator, Vicki VanNoy.
This service alerted residents in the path of the tornado that affected Granville, LeRoy and West Franklin, and potentially averted injuries and saved lives.
