The upcoming Heritage Festival has something for all!

The upcoming Heritage Festival has something for all!Pictured is a Civil War Reproduction quilt with ‘Court House Steps’, ‘Basket Box’, and ‘Log Cabin’ patterns in natural falls colors, 90”x90” in size. Hand quilted, and designed by Ralph Wilston, who will have quilts on display. Provided photo.

The Pennsylvania Heritage Festival, planned for Sept. 15 and 16 at the Heritage Village and Farm Museum located at Alparon Park in Troy, Pa. will offer something for every one of all ages. Among them will be an impressive display of quilts designed by Ralph Wilston.

Ralph, a retired building contractor, designs the quilt pattern and choice of colors himself rather than following a commercial pattern.

The Pennsylvania Heritage Festival offers historical demonstrations, displays, a Civil War Encampment, Artisan’s Marketplace, delicious food, hands on children’s activities, chain saw carving, an American Girl Doll Exhibit, and will highlight the Museum’s current Exhibit – ‘Snake Oil to Modern Medicine’.

Come and experience Phydeaux’s Flying Flea Circus and Wahoo Medicine Show.

Join them at the close on Saturday for a special U.S. Flag Disposal Ceremony conducted by the Canton VFW.

The event is presented by the Bradford County Heritage Association and the Troy Rotary Club.
