The Friends of Mount Pisgah State Park were pleased to host musician and historian Van Wagner for a free concert on Sept. 27. The audience included local residents and fans that follow Wagner’s performances.

Van Wagner’s music has been featured on the History Channel, WVIA TV, as well as Country Music Television (CMT). He has released 23 original albums and published a book, “Coal Dust Rust and Saw Dust.”

The Friends of Mount Pisgah State Park would like to thank everyone that attended and enjoyed the evening. They hope that it will be the first of many musical events at the park.

If you have any suggestions or ideas for future events, contact the Friends group at the park by calling (570) 297-2734.
