An audition will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of The Pied Piper on Monday, Nov. 12, at the Troy Memorial Auditorium from 4 to 6 p.m. All those auditioning should arrive at 3:45 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.
Among the roles to be cast are the Pied Piper, Sara, the Mayor’s Kids, the Mayor’s Council, the Hamelin Administrative Team (HAT), Barbers, Cooks, Towns-kids and the troublesome Rats. Students, grades kindergarten through 12th, are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to assist with the technical aspects of the production. There is no fee to audition. There is a $20 fee for students selected to participate in the residency.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. MCT Tour Actor / Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 4 to 8:15 p.m. each day.
The Pied Piper will be presented on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Memorial Auditorium in Troy, Pa. Tickets are $7.00.
