Theft in Wysox: Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda are investigating a theft that occurred on Golden Mile Road in Wysox Township between Dec. 1 and Dec. 4.

According to the public information release, the victim’s Christmas decorations were stolen from a property on the 1000 block of Golden Mile Road. Anyone with information regarding the theft is asked to contact State Police in Towanda at (570) 265-2186.

Theft of mail in Granville Twp.: Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda are investigating a theft that occurred on Windfall Road in Granville Township on Dec. 6 at approximately 4:13 p.m.

According to the public information release report, an investigation began for missing mail at the victim’s residence. The investigation is currently ongoing.

Attempting to Elude Police: Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda are investigating an incident of fleeing police that occurred at the North Towanda Dandy in North Towanda Township on Nov. 7 at 10:05 p.m.

According to the public information release report, the operator of a yellow Suzuki GSX-R750 crashed the vehicle on Old Plank Road in Towanda Township and fled on foot. A suspect has been developed according to the report, but has not been located. Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police at (570) 265-2186.

DUI charges: Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda have arrested Joseph John Miksis, 53, of Towanda, for driving under the influence.

According to the public information release report, on Nov. 24 at 9:51 p.m. state police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Sheshequin Road and Goose Hollow Road in Sheshequin Township for a traffic violation. Police found the operator of the vehicle that was stopped, Miksis, to be driving under the influence.
