In August, the Sullivan County Dairy Promotion Royalty Team lead by Taylor Bottiglieri, Dairy Maid and Ambassadors Noah Phillips and Joshua Heess decided to particulate in the statewide “Fill a Glass with Hope” campaign. The campaign addresses the one in seven Pennsylvanians who are impacted by hunger, for every dollar raised eight servings of milk can be donated to the people in need by the Central Pa Food Bank, which serves the local Food Bank.

The team set up booth at different events though out Sullivan County with rock and canvas painting, Corn hole Tournaments, Cow Pie Bingo, working in the 4-H Livestock food stand, setting up donation jars and passing out donation information sheets.

Taylor Bottiglieri stated the team set a goal and they focused on that goal with a can do attitude. That can do attitude raised $3,000.00 for the “Fill a Glass with Hope” campaign.

This money will be shared with the Sullivan County Food Pantry and will distribute milk to the people served by the Food Pantry.
