Three Northern Tier state representatives joined their House colleagues in taking the oath of office on New Year’s Day at the state Capitol.

Representative Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna / Wayne) is beginning his second term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Tina Pickett (R-Bradford / Sullivan / Susquehanna) is beginning her 10th term, and Clint Owlett (R-Bradford / Potter / Tioga) is beginning his first full term.

Owlett was sworn in to office in June 2018 after winning a special election. Tuesday’s swearing-in ceremony marks the beginning of the 2019-20 legislative session.

“The three of us work closely to promote the unique needs of constituents in our area of the Commonwealth,” Pickett said. “Our combined voices help to collectively ensure that the issues facing the Northern Tier receive strong consideration during legislative debate.”
