Troy High welcomes walkers

Step into the New Year by joining the group of walkers at the Troy High School Commons Building Gymnasium each morning that school is in session. This is a great opportunity to increase your energy to begin the day’s activities.

Studies show that walking at least three times a week will help to burn extra calories, lower your blood pressure, control your diabetes, build stamina, and reduce the risk of dementia. These are only a few of the benefits of a regular walking routine.

All are welcome to this free program. Walk at your own pace or join a fellow walker to chitchat with him or her to help pass the time more quickly. Stay for as long as your schedule allows. The gym is open from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m.
