On Jan. 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a benefit dinner will take place for Heidi Breidt, a 36-year-old mother that was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer in November. The event will take place at the Canton Moose, located at 41 Sullivan St. in Canton, Pa.
Breidt is married with three young boys, ages 11, nine and five. Her treatments began approximately 3-weeks after her diagnosis, and will continue for several months. In order to assist with time missed from work, medical bills, and many other expenses, all proceeds from the Jan. 27 benefit will go directly to the family to help with their needs.
The organizers are also looking for raffle baskets for the event. If you are able to help, call Jenn Wooster at (570) 244-8855. Baskets must be ready for pick up on Jan. 25.
