Access fraud: Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a report of access device fraud in Wyalusing Township that occurred at 5:57 p.m. on Jan. 28.

Police documents state that a victim reported a credit card stolen from their purse their workplace in Wyalusing and later returned but a number of unauthorized purchases were made using the credit card.

Individuals with information are asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda.

Criminal mischief: Pennsylvania State Police have accused a 12-year-old male in Towanda with criminal mischief and trespassing following an incident that occurred between 5 p.m. on Feb. 6 and 2 p.m. on Feb. 12.

According to police records, officers received a call reporting a smashed window of a vehicle on private property around 3:30 p.m. and were able to identify the actor.

Control of alarm: Pennsylvania State Police have charged Kost Tire and Auto in Wysox with control of alarm devices following an incident at 6:23 p.m. on Feb. 18.

Police reports state that an alarm system at Kost Tire and Auto dispatched for the fourth time this year as a false alarm. The company was charged through District Magistrate 42-3-04 in Wysox.

Theft reported: Pennsylvania State Police in Laporte are investigating a use of counterfeit bills in Dushore. According to the public information report, on Feb. 19 at 11:03 a.m., the store reported to police that the suspect arrived at the Family Dollar on Route 220 in Dushore and purchased a prepaid Visa card with seven counterfeit 20-dollar bills.

The suspect is described as a male with a lazy right eye, full beard, black watch cap, camo coat with a red Canada patch on right shoulder, dark pants and red sneakers. The suspect was last seen traveling south on Route 220 in a blue sedan.

Simple assault: Pennsylvania State Police in Laporte are investigating an assault that took place in Laporte on Feb. 15 at 10:30 p.m. According to the public information report, an unknown man struck a 48-year-old Hughesville man in the face with a beer glass.

Possession: Pennsylvania State Police in Laporte have levied charges against Kaleb Eugene Stoner, 20, after a traffic stop in Dushore Borough on Feb. 19.

Police initiated a traffic stop for a traffic violation on Stoner at 12:29 a.m. on the aforementioned date. During the stop, a consent search was conducted and a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia were found.

Persons not to possess firearms

Pennsylvania State Police in Laporte have filed charges against Zachary Clayton Capriotti, 32, of Laporte, after an incident on Feb. 17 in Laporte. According to the public information report, state police responded to a call regarding a male with a gun. When police arrived, Capriotti was outside of the building on Main Street and became involved in a verbal argument with his parents because they had disconnected the Wi-Fi. Capriotti’s mother stated that he had a firearm during the argument and that he was not allowed to own one. The weapon, along with three other firearms, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located. Capriotti was jailed on a permanent detainer from State Parole and charges have been filed in District Court 44-3-03.

Theft: Pennsylvania State Police in Laporte are investigating a report of stolen property from the Dar Way Elder Care home. According to the public information report, on Feb. 14 between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. approximately 17 oxycodone pills were stolen from the facility.
