This coming week’s Film Fest movies at Canton’s Rialto Theatre are “On the Basis of Sex” on March 12 at 7 p.m., and “Stan and Ollie” on March 13 at 7 p.m.
Thursdays during Film Fest are very special because you can see two movies with lunch in-between. On March 14, “On the Basis of Sex” will be showing at 10 a.m., and “Stan and Ollie” at 12:30 p.m.
If you opt for that package, the cost is $17 for adults and $15 for seniors. Lunch is open to community members (who may not be attending the movie) as well as moviegoers. It consists of a variety of soups, breads, and desserts for $5.
The following week includes “Tea with Dames” on March 19 at 7 p.m.; “If Beale Street Could Talk” on March 20 at 7 p.m.; and “Tea with Dames and if “Beale Street Could Talk” at 12:30 p.m., with lunch in between on March 21.
Tickets for these events can be obtained at the Rialto box office, the Canton Independent-Sentinel office, or online at bcrac.org.
