Garden Club to meet on April 1

The Heritage Garden Club will meet at the Methodist Church in Troy on April 1, at 7 p.m. Ann Vayansky, of the Tiadaghton Audubon Society and Master Gardener of Tioga County, will present a PowerPoint program on the benefits of Native Gardening for our feathered friends. Through the help of the Tiadaghton Audubon Society, Wellsboro was recently designated as a “Bird City USA”.

The club wishes to extend a warm welcome to new members of all levels of gardening experience. Spring has arrived, so this is the perfect time to consider becoming a member of the club. They are a very active group involved in numerous community beautification projects and their monthly meetings always include an informative program.

For more information about how to become a member, contact Charlotte Lyon at (570) 297-4269. Heritage Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania and National Garden Clubs, Inc.
