Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Twin Tiers helps children realize their potential and build their futures. They nurture children and strengthen communities. The program could not exist without support from the community.
Since 1904, BBBS has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is incredible potential. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network, BBBS makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (Bigs) and children (Littles) ages six through young adulthood in communities across the country. They develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
Donations are tax-deductible and stay local. Donations can be made at the AmVets Club Post 187, 97 Echo Beach Rd., Towanda, or at the BBBS office in the Towanda Borough Police Department building at 10 Park St., Towanda, or by calling (570) 265-3009 or (570) 485-7861.
