The Mansfield University Alumni Association (MUAA) will welcome alumni and friends back to campus during its annual MU Alumni Weekend celebration June 6-8. Returning alumni will enjoy events that join together lifelong Mountaineers, celebrate alumni excellence and class anniversaries, and infuse the local community with MU Alumni pride and commerce.
“MU was the launch pad for more than 30,000 alumni who are doing great things and making an impact in a variety of ways across the globe. For many, Mansfield is the place where it all began. This special place on the hill is where our alumni discovered that dreams can become reality,” Director of Alumni Relations Casey Wood ’02 said. “We look forward to welcoming our friends back to campus to enjoy a weekend filled with good times and unforgettable memories.”
Yorkholo Brewing Company will kick off the weekend-long celebration on Thursday, June 6 with the band RUST to perform at the brewing company at 8 p.m. RUST is a classic rock cover band from the Southern Tier of New York State. RUST has been on the music scene since the ’70s featuring songs from Rush to Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin to Toto and beyond.
