The Village Improvement Association (VIA) met on May 9, at the Canton Ecumenical Parish for their monthly meeting. There were nine members present who heard Representatives from Bayada Home Health Care speak about their organization and how they provide numerous services.
The members were quite interested in the presentation and asked questions. This organization helps people have home life with independence in order to keep them comfortable with living at home the best they can.
They were informed that there is a process that needs to be completed and may entail some time before acceptance into the program, so they advised to contact them as soon as they can.
President Kathie Lepper then conducted the VIA’s monthly business meeting, with Shirley Esaias and Joyce Castle providing refreshments. They even had a cake to celebrate Leon English’s birthday, which was that day.
Next month, the VIA will hold their Annual Picnic at the Canton Memorial Pool Pavillion, with everyone bringing a dish to pass.
