CEF camps begin on June 24

Date set for annual Literacy Program Banquet

Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of Bradford County, Inc. will be hosting numerous day camps throughout Bradford County this summer. Camps are held Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, and are for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Camps will take place June 24-28 at Canton Center Park by the pool, July 8-12 at Mt. Pisgah State Park’s Lakeside Pavilion, July 15-19 at Satterlee Creek Environmental Center behind Litchfield School, July 29-Aug. 2 at Warren Center Park, and Aug. 5-9 at Towanda Memorial Park.

You may pre-register your child by calling (570) 265-7161 or (570) 247-7438; or register your child the first morning of camp. There is a small fee for the camp and scholarships are available.

Children should bring a bag lunch, light jacket, a Bible, and a swimsuit and towel to camp. There will by a Bible study, crafts, recreation, Missions time, lunchtime, swim time, a snack (provided), and other Special Activities and lots of fun.

These camps are organized and run by Dan and Sharon Russell, Bradford County CEF directors, along with responsible adults and junior counselors.
