On May 21, Bradford-Tioga Head Start, Inc. conducted its Head Start / Pre-K child selection for the 2019-20 program year. It is the mission of Bradford-Tioga Head Start, Inc. to provide exceptional educational opportunities and high quality supportive services that will empower children and families to grow and thrive. 

Head Start and Pre-K are high quality child and family programs with a focus on increasing the school readiness of young children. These programs are available to families with children three to five years old. Head Start and Pre-K offer educational activities, nutritious meals and snacks, health check-ups, computer learning, family services, and creative arts. Transportation is provided at several of the Head Start / Pre-K centers throughout Bradford and Tioga counties. 

Openings do occur during the summer due to families moving so there is still time to complete an application. Call (570) 638-1400 for more information. 

Bradford-Tioga Head Start, Inc. is a program that offers state and federally funded programs for pregnant mothers, families and their children, newborn up to the age of five; this includes Early Head Start, Head Start, and Pre-K Counts services.
