The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program provides $20 in vouchers for fresh Pennsylvania produce to eligible seniors. You may qualify if you are a Pennsylvania resident age 60 or older, or turning 60 by Dec. 31, 2019, and meet income criteria. An individual with yearly income less than $23,107 and couples with combined yearly income less than $31,284 meets income eligibility criteria. Recipients will be required to show proof of age and Pennsylvania residency.
Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program vouchers will be available on Thursday, July 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Canton Active Living Center, located at 6 E. Tioga St. in Canton.
Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program vouchers will also be available Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bradford County Area Agency on Aging Office located at 220 Main St., Unit 2 in Towanda until Sept. 30 and while supplies last.
