Second Annual Paws For A Cause Benefit Ride

Join the Troy American Legion Riders on Aug. 4 for a relaxing, guided ride through the hills of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Registration for the ride takes place from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at First Citizens Community Bank in Troy, and with kickstands up at 10 a.m.

The cost of the ride, which benefits the Animal Care Sanctuary in East Smithfield, Pa., is $15 per rider and $5 per passenger. 

The route will be approximately 110 miles on all Pennsylvania roads. Helmets are optional, but strongly encouraged. 

There will be brief rest stops along the route for gas. The ride will end at the Animal Care Sanctuary in East Smithfield where lunch will be provided.
