Volunteers at the Troy Sale Barn are trying to complete most of the outside work before cold weather sets in. The parking lot has been paved; lampposts have been erected, and landscaping is now completed.
The two signs have recently been erected, one on Canton Street and one on Ballard Street. 21st Century Signs in Williamsport made the signs, which have a sandblasted outline of the sale barn. The double-faced signs are made from a fabricated material that will withstand the weather. The signs are lit up at night, making them visible.
With cold weather approaching, the volunteer crew will be directing their efforts inside to the theatre area. Plans are to insulate this area and turn on the heat so that work can continue throughout the winter months.
The committee is seeking volunteer help and donations. Memorial seats are still available at $150.
