Furry Friends Inn, located in Lockwood, N.Y., celebrated its tenth anniversary since it first opened as a pet daycare and kennel last Sunday. Furry Friends Inn picks up dogs for daycare in its transport van from and brings them home in the afternoon.
Run by the amazing dog whisperer, Karen Garrity, the Inn also boards dogs and cats, and has even hosted a bird. The celebration of ten wonderful years of business included raffle baskets, snacks, and “peel off” raffles from a board that offered discounts and even free pet stays at the lnn.
The employees were allowed to pick a charitable organization to donate all proceeds of the day, and they chose the Bradford County Humane Society. Furry Friends Inn then matched the day’s intake and donated all to the shelter.
Everyone at Bradford County Humane Society was surprised and joyful at the generous gift from Furry Friends Inn.
Bradford County Humane Society is a no kill shelter and a United Way Agency.
