The Troy Sale Barn is pleased to announce that they are partnering with both of the Troy and Canton Chamber of Commerce for Hometown Christmas, planned for Saturday, Nov. 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Celebrate Small Business Saturday by shopping local and visiting the Troy Sale Barn, while enjoying the talent the area has to offer.
The local artisans and farmers in the Troy Sale Barn will offer a variety of goods, products and services. Enjoy shopping for unique gifts including homemade botanical soaps, lotions, beauty products from Maple Hollow; Dancing Heifer’s original artwork and gifts; teas, tinctures, fire cider and elderberry tonic from Dirt Road Herbals; handcrafted jewelry and accessories by Lynette D. Ambruch; Art from the Heart’s wood crafts and photographs; goats’ milk soaps and lotions from Edwards Family Homestead; hand painted signs from Crankee Yankee Creations; Armstrong Acrylic “one of a kind practical” Art; maple syrup from Jelliff’s Maple; gourmet popcorn, peanuts and coffee from Mill Street Treats; replica railroad and hand lettered signs from Niver Signs; homemade bread, jams/jellies, candy, and English Christmas cakes from New View Farm; funky trees from Just Breathe Creations; Untamed Art welded metal sculptures; honey, beeswax and vinegars from Slipping Down Farm; hand painted treasures from Bonnie Bell; dog and cat t-shirts from Animal Care Sanctuary; wine tasting from Mountain Lake Winery; Remembrance Tree tags from the Troy Community Hospital Auxiliary; The Pisgah Pounders 4-H Club will offer pet toys and treats; Create It wooden crafts; artisan cheese from Backroads Creamery; alpaca products from Under the Moonlite Alpaca and Garlic Ranch; wooden toys from Richard Kobbe; Mystic Moon Self Care herbal and botanical products; wool products and apple pear cider from Bohlayer’s Orchards; and fresh mixed green wreaths and swags from Greener Pastures Farm and Greenhouses.
Holiday photo mini sessions will be offered by MSDS Photography, or sit in a sleigh posed with miniature horse reindeer for great photo opportunities with Hogback Mountain Pony Rides outside the barn. Melinda’s School of Dance students will be performing selections from “Gift of the Nutcracker” on the stage next to a decorated Christmas tree. Paul Zaleskie and Holly Butcher will also lend their musical talents with holiday music sure to delight barn goers.
The Troy Sale Barn Operating Corporation volunteers will have homemade soups, baked goods, hotdogs, and sloppy jo’s available for purchase from the kitchen.
Be sure to support the Chinese Auction with 30 different items donated by the vendors in the barn; get your Chamber Raffle card punched for every $10 spent on the Chinese Auction. All the proceeds from the food sales and Chinese Auction benefit the renovations of the Troy Sale Barn.
