Auditions for Hamilton-Gibson’s production of “Almost, Maine” will be on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 2:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Warehouse Theatre, located at 3 Central Ave. in Wellsboro. No preparation is needed to audition and the auditions are open to all adult men and women.
“The cast calls for two men and two women, though it’s possible that we’ll cast more,” said Director Thomas Putnam.
“Almost, Maine” is an exploration of love lost, found, and confounded in 11 short playlets. All events transpire during the same 10 minutes from around 8:50 p.m. to a bit after 9 p.m. on a cold, clear, moonless, slightly surreal Friday night in the middle of the deepest part of a Northern Maine winter. The action is set in and around Almost, a small town that doesn’t quite exist.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, March 27 and 28, and April 3 and 4, and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 29 at the Warehouse Theatre.
