‘Feed My Sheep’ Food Pantry 

Open 9 a.m. to noon and 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 9 at Athens United Methodist Church, 118 S. Main St., Athens.  

A small supply of basic groceries are available for residents of Athens or Sayre school districts. Registration and I.D. are required for all clients.  Please note: Distribution will be from the large parking lot. Please don’t get out of your vehicle.

Free fellowship meal 

4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 9 at Athens United Methodist Church, 118 S. Main St., Athens.  

A take-out only dinner will be available. Please watch for signs to pick up. 

Friday, April 10

The Towanda Area Christian Outreach (T.A.C.O.) Food Pantry

Will be closed Friday, April 10 for Good Friday.  The pantry will reopen Monday, April 13. T.A.C.O. is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. until noon.

Tuesday, April 14

CANCELLED: Distribution of CSFP — Elder Share — Fresh Express

This is for April 20 only. T.A.C.O. Food Pantry will be open during normal operating hours from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, including Monday, April 20. If anyone needs food assistance due to income, layoffs, school closures please call the pantry during operating hours. Phone: (570) 265-4422.

The April 14 Wysox Sewing Society Monthly Dinner is cancelled.  Dinners will resume in May.

Wilkes-Barre Area Queens’ Council of Red Hat Society luncheon
