Bookmobile open for curbside service

The Bradford County Library recently released their scheduled. 

The Bookmobile will be available with the following guidelines in place: no customers will be allowed on the Bookmobile; curbside service will be by appointment only; and curbside service will be available for picking up and dropping off items. 

On July 1, the Bookmobile will be at Colonial Towers Apartments in Towanda at 9:30 a.m.; Oak Ridge Community in Towanda at 10:15 a.m.; Towanda Terrace Apartments at 11 a.m.; Moppetts on Mulberry in Towanda, at 11:45 a.m. ; Wysox Children’s Center at noon; C&N Bank in Wysox at 12:15 p.m. in Wysox; Rome Township Hall at 1 p.m. on July 1; 2:15 p.m. on July 1 at the Warren Center Post Office; Windham Township Hall at 9 a.m. on July 2; Bentley Creek Baptist Church at 9:30 a.m. on July 2; on The Green in East Smithfield at 10:15 a.m. on July 2; Wells Township’s Play Field, at 11:15 a.m. on July 2; at First Citizens’ Bank at noon in Mosherville and then at 1 p.m. at the Gillett Branch.

When you arrive at the Bookmobile at the appointed time, do not leave your vehicle. Open the trunk and they will place the bag containing the items in the trunk and close it. If you have items to return, place them in a bag in your trunk and they will remove them.  

Check their website, Facebook page, and local newspapers for the bookmobile’s schedule and for updates on their service. 

In a press release, library officials stated, “Our goal is to keep everyone safe and to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Hopefully these measures will be temporary and be lifted relatively soon. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.”
