Classic Cars and Trucks are invited to the weekly Troy Town Cruisers Cruise-In in Troy, Pa. each Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. through the end of September.


Family Fun Fair at MPWC, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church property on Berwick Turnpike. Theme is “God’s Unfolding Story”. For more information, visit Facebook or call the church office at (570) 596-4003. Rain date is Sunday, July 26, same time.  


Pop Up Food Pantry for all residents of the Troy School District, noon at the Pavilion at the Troy Fair Grounds in Troy, Pa. Enter thru gate 3. Follow directions to the pavilion and exit thru gate 1. 


Sayre Summer Concert Series, 6:30 p.m., Ain’t Misbehaving on the Howard Elmer Park Bandstand.


Towanda Summer Concert Series, 7 p.m., Fairchild Park. Classic Too will perform.

‘Feed My Sheep’ Food Pantry, 9 a.m. to noon and 4 to 6 p.m., Athens United Methodist Church, 118 S. Main St., Athens. Small supply of basic groceries available for residents of Athens, Sayre school districts. I.D. required. Distribution is from the large parking lot. Please don’t get out of your vehicle.

Drive-thru Community Supper, 4 to 5 p.m., Church of the Redeemer, Sayre.

AUGUST 1 and 2

Bradford County Airport Fly-In and Ride-Out at the airport. Tailgating and camping Saturday afternoon and evening. Food truck and live music from 5 Man Trio on Sunday along with pilots, planes, morning bicycle ride and more. Visit for more information.


Williamson Branch Concert, 6 p.m., on the Green in East Smithfield. This gospel bluegrass band will share their ministry at a concert on the green, weather permitting. Bring a lawn chair. In case of inclement weather, it will be held in the Federated Church. A love offering will be received to benefit the group.  


Pop Up Food Pantry, noon, South Creek Fire Station in Fassett, Pa., and off Route 14. Follow directions of the fire personnel. Hosted by the South Creek Lions.


Sayre Summer Concert Series 6:30 p.m., Diana and the Crew on the Howard Elmer Park Bandstand.


Towanda Summer Concert Series, 7 p.m., Fairchild Park. Electric Sunshine will perform.

CANCELLED: The Troy High School Class of 1951 class reunion has been cancelled.

AUGUST 7 and 8

Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church’s Annual Benevolence Rummage Sale, Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bag Sale is Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. The Wysox Sewing Society will not hold a dinner on Aug. 11. Future dinners will be posted on the Community Calendar.


Sayre Summer Concert Series, 6:30 p.m., Howard Elmer Park Bandstand. Flashback will perform.

Athens Senior Citizens picnic luncheon, noon, Sayre American Legion Post 283 pavilion, 171 Cayuta St., Milltown. The guest speaker will be Tina Pickett, state representative. 2020 Sportsman Banquet Extravaganza, starts at 1 p.m. with dinner at 5 p.m. and a guest speaker at 6 p.m., North Rome Wesleyan Church, 3374 N. Rome Rd., Rome, Pa. Free event. Crossbow grand door prize. Guest speaker is MLB baseball legend and hunter Sid Bream. A vendor show will take place at 1 p.m., deer scents at 2 p.m., blood tracking at 3 p.m., and handgun safety and self defense at 4 p.m. Visit to learn more.
