The Armenia Mountain Spurs Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) has rescheduled its annual banquet for Saturday, Aug. 29. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, this year’s banquet will feature an open-air format.
To take advantage of outdoor daylight conditions for maximum social distancing, the festivities will begin at 2:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Troy Fire Company.
Games of chance, raffles, live and silent auctions will provide entertainment throughout the event. Special drawings for veterans, ladies and jakes (youth), set the stage for the huge sportsman raffle, which features something for everyone.
Over 20 firearms, some limited editions, will find their way to new homes. You may go home that night with a crossbow, smoker, custom artwork, wildlife prints, or a variety of items for your home or camp.
You can sign up for the banquet, or receive further information by calling David LeVan at (570) 297-4224.
