The second Saturday morning of each month Prayer At Work will be held in the Upper Room at Mmm Good’s Bed and Breakfast on Rt. 414 in East Canton. The meeting time is from 9 to 11:00 a.m. This will be a time of teaching, encouragement and intercessory prayer for business people and others with a vision for marketplace ministry. All who are interested are invited to attend.
Pam and Jason Denlinger, a local couple who manage small business will facilitate the meetings. Pam comments, "We believe that prayer truly makes a difference in people’s lives, as well as in the realm of business. As believers the purpose of our business endeavors should be different – we can look at our work as a calling from God that’s meant to bless our employees, our customers, our community, and the Kingdom of God. This can be a battlefield, especially in stressful economic times! We need wisdom as well as the intervention of God, sometimes on a daily basis. Prayer At Work is a time to come together for mutual support and encouragement."
On Feb. 13 the topic will be "Knowing the Times and Seasons" presented by Pam Denlinger of Solair Energy. On March 13 the topic will be "How To Position Your Business For God’s Blessings" an inspirational seminar presented by Mark Petty of Petty’s Landscaping, Inc.
All are invited. If you cannot attend, but would like your business placed on the prayer list, send your business card to "Prayer At Work, PO Box 275, Ralston PA 17763". Or call the Denlingers at 673-4403 to leave a prayer request, or for further information.
