Godspell coming to Troy's Memorial Auditorium

Rehearsals are underway for the Troy Area High School Drama Club's production of Godspell. The musical will be presented on March 5 at 7:30 p.m. and again on March 6 at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Troy High School Memorial Auditorium.
Tickets will be $8 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens and will be available at the Troy Area High School office, Stull's Flowers in Candor, or M.C. Insurance Associates in Troy.
Godspell is a high energy contemporary setting of the Gospell according to Matthew set in modern times.
This year's pit band features the guitar playing of local star Alfonse Ciaccio, drumming of Brad Chamberlain, Bass playing of Charles Hawthorne and of course the unforgettable leadership and piano playing of Cherilyn Ayres.
Also of note is the addition of a 60 voice adult community choir under the direction of Charlotte Morse. The adult choir will be combing with the Troy Drama Club to create a unique and exciting theatrical experience.
